Deee-lightful!
I lived 5 years in south of Poland, where we used to get 2 meters of snow over a night, so I'm familiar with this exercise

What is worse is when you just finish clearing the driveway and you are admiring your hard work when you hear a rumble in the distance. It's the city snow plow, about to dump a 3 foot high wall of wet snow and slush at the end of your driveway! Happy to live in Texas now after moving from Wisconsin!
Vaguely masochistic
Barnack LTM Leicas are super fiddly to load, have separate viewfinders - one to focus, one to compose - , need to prefocus your focus vf etc

Oooh, in this case, not for me, thank you
But when it comes to snow, then yeah, for that reason I'm a perfect human - I always want/desire something that I do not own

I am trying to use a uv filter with the ultron II 28mm and the LH-12. But the hood will not go on with my urth uv pro+ filter - the filter is a fraction too large in diameter - just over 39mm.
To users with the LH-4N hood - do you use a filter with it? Or if not can you see if there is any room for a filter?

Hi,
I use the Haoge LH-VM12 Bayonet Square Metal Lens Hood Shade which is the replacement for the CV LH-12 with my CV 28m Ultron II VM lens. I use the lens and hood with the B + W 39mm UV Protection Filter (010) for Camera Lens - Xtra Slim Mount (XS-PRO), MRC Nano filter. I have no problem bayonette mounting the hood with the filter in place. These filters may still possibly be found or B+W has replaced these filters with their Master Pro version of the filter. I believe that the glass and the filter size may be the the same, but the new version has ridged edging to better grip the filter.

LH-4N: B+W fits. My Breakthrough filter did not – the knurling on the edges made it too wide.
