Can’t post the pics I took of kids yesterday because some of them aren’t mine, so here’s my pup in the dim light of our apartment. Animal EyeAF has a hard time with her sometimes, I’m assuming because she’s very dark.
First few shots with this lens, we had about 10 minutes of decent light yesterday between storms, so not much luxury in terms of preparing the composition.
My kids got tired of posing for me, after all the shots I took while testing the 35GM. Though after some negotiation, I was able to persuade my son to pose for this shot...
I think your son wants to be compensated for his time as a model. My son gives me "photo slave" coupons (that don't expire) every Christmas. I save these coupons for lens testing purposes.
I got the lens on Friday because my dealer screw up and did not overnight it to me. I know, 1st world problem, right. I took it out on Saturday for some test shots and fell in love with the lens. I normally don't like 50mm for some reason. I prefer to work with 85mm or 135mm, maybe even 200mm. But this is a great lens.
