I like the recent photo of the coffee barista (better had been either more engaged in the coffee or the camera), but the rest of these images...??
Trinkets and trees you should call this forum Good use of $1400 👍

Jealous snarky comments about the cost of a lens is so very much you. Funny, but also sad and pathetic in a loser sort of way.
Snarking about the cost of the Zeiss Otus 85mm: KarmaKramer wrote:
Lovely.
That Otus BETTER have some pop. Cha ching.
And again snarking about the FE 35mm 1.4 GM: KarmaKramer wrote:
Sony has everyone by the little curlys if we keep running to buy $1400 lenses to take photos of mannequins and overhanging foliage.

God bless if you can drop 3K on this one comfortably. Over 4K for Canadians!
Not the world I live in anymore lol
Valhalla!
Great shot abase21: to my eye, one of the best 3D-pop images I've ever seen on this forum; I'm really liking the rendering of this new 50mm GM !
For anyone interested, Sony has published an interview with the designers here: https://www.sony.com/electronics/interview-sel50f12gm (thanks to Andrea from SAR for the link)
Wow, first time Sony Mexico delivers sooner that retailers in the States.
I got mine two days ago but unfortunately I haven't been able to shoot. What I can tell is that is the evil twin from the 85mm, they are exactly the same tall and wide, but as you all know the filter treat is smaller on the 50mm.
Sony GM 50/1.2 arrived an hour ago and I managed to do some usual preliminary tests.
A bit more than 3000 lenses have passed through my hands over the last 32 years, yet I have never seen such great performance at f1.2 or thereabouts in 50mm standard.
I hope to take it out tomorrow, together with Voigtlander Apo Lanthar 35/2 that arrived 2 weeks ago and has not been tried out yet.
Looking very much forward to your shots with the APO, 35GM and 50GM.
Your pics usually seem to have among the best delineation, color and pop. Loving it!
