It's up to the photographer, not the lens, to produce an artistic image. This lens is fantastic. Obviously it's not a character lens that creates attention with effects, but it's pretty special nevertheless.

I’ve never met an artistic lens. Mostly they are glass, metal, and plastic and have very few if any artistic motivations.

After seeing a post on FM, I have now wrapped 12 of my lenses with the Alphagvrd product and absolutely love how they came out. I would like to cover my A1 and A7RIV (I also do very little video), but I'm intimidated by the complexity of the install. Can you offer any words of wisdom on this?

Hmmm… I would say in my case reading glasses ,very good lighting and an Old Fashioned.
I didn’t bother with the tweezers for wrapping the lenses but found them useful for the body. The one thing I encountered with the body that was different than the lenses was air bubbles. Luckily this stuff is ok with being removed/adjusted.
I will also have a hair dryer ready for the next installation to warm the vinyl up a hair. Haven’t used one yet but we’ll see how it goes.

How long did it take to get your skins? I ordered the lens caps three weeks ago and they still haven’t shipped.
The ability to get focused action shots at f/1.2 with this lens is pretty incredible...I wouldn't have even tried a lot of these back in my Canon days with the 50L.
,very good lighting and an Old Fashioned.
