I reckon Roger from Lens Rentals and such would be able to carry out a robust studio test.

Anyone else interested in the difference in transmission between the two lenses and possibly other 1.2 vs 1.4 lenses?

I found my 1.2 sigma 35 to be no brighter than any 1.4 35.

Mikescamera has it in stock right now. I ordered one from them Wednesday, and it shipped Friday.
