Through the window of our Airbnb, Napoli (Naples), Italy.
Pretty dark and it landed on a branch at eye level so close I had to back up. No landing shots. Photographers luck and I was focusing on a different owl.

Looking at a rose from our front garden.
Cropped from right, Tripod mounted A1 and Voigtlander 110mm f2.5 Macro Apo-Lanthar, FE mount; silent shutter. 2 Macro Focusing rails were used to position the camera and lens on the tripod head and tripod. The lower focusing rail for the X-axis (left and right postioning) was the Leofoto MP-180S and the upper focusing rail for the Y-axis (front and back positioning) was the Swebo LS001. The Swebo LS001 was delivered on Thursday, June 2 after a wait of 39 days due to the shutdown in Shanghai, China.

In my garden bed in front of my home; Breinigsville, PA.
I have been locked down for the past almost 3 months due to injuries from an accident. I have been forced to run my businesses from home over the phone, computer, and through various video technologies.
One of the things I do is design and build spec homes. Thursday I finished one of my latest pet projects which is an oceanfront street custom home here in La Jolla. I just had to go and see it personally. So, I had a bed installed in the back of one of my SUVs, got loaded into it, and driven down to see the house.
I took this image of it with my A1. It is a three shot bracket to handle the wide dynamic range I wanted to capture.
More hummers from yesterday. They are spending most of their time chasing each other away. Got to be patient and wait for them to feed on the flowers. They will be gone from our area in about a month.
