I went down this track with my canon rebel and 70-200 2.8, got them put on my NRMA contents as specified items. It cost an addtional $15 a month when I upgraded to the 20D and also put my other lenses flash etc on the policy as specified items there was no addtional charges or fees. They mucked up a couple of serial numbers so when I had it rectified asked if there was a minimum fee for a specified amount but could not get a straight answer from the call centre person
Some one else on this thread had the same setup but if I recall when they had a claim because he was making money he was using the gear "professionally" and there was a problem.
