Due to the pandemic, I ended up sprucing up the front and the backyards. Several months ago, I bought some new plants and Cape Honeysuckle was one of them to attract hummingbirds. A few days ago the flowers started to bloom and I noticed a visitor. So, the following morning I setup my camera and to make a long story short here are a few images from several visits. It looks like a female Anna's hummingbird. So far, that's the only visitor. I would like to see others, at least, the male Anna's hummingbird. But in the meantime, we have to put up with images of this gal...
I used a reflector to direct some more light and it didn't bother the hummer at all. I also used a short extension tube to get a more frame filling magnification of the hummer.
Thank you for visiting and please feel free to leave any feedback,
Joshua
