Adorama is not Canon. Adorama is awesome btw! F-stoppers wrote a article years about Nikon not having any women photographers ambassadors & Nikon shooters. All great photographers. The following year they hire several in the US market. Just state the facts.

This is the most fair and honest views I have seen eventhough he did not have Canon R5 in his hands
That is a good point. Canon has already said there will be rolling shutter in certain lighting conditions. He said useless and I already thought of that. I figured I'd let that go because I don't want to cull that many photos anyway. My only concern at this point is shutter lag with mechanical shutter. I don't want to try anticipate where a bird may go like I have with my R in the last year.

Can we please leave the perceived social injustices out of the gear talk?

This is my biggest concern also. The R was not fun for that, you can deal with it but I do not want to with owning the 1dx Mark III. The 1dx Mark III is very good in this area. So I am hoping that the R5 will be greatly improved over the R. I feel it will be. Hopefully all will be answered in a couple weeks. I still think it will make a great combo owning both.

I don't know. I'm at Canon USA looking the the VF info and it doesn't say.
My understanding is the R5 also has the two choices of EVF frame rate. Standard 60FPS for better battery life and 120FPS for shooting moving subjects. This is same as Sony and it is noticeable when I shoot hummingbirds going from flower to flower. At 60FPS whenever the bird moves to a new flower I lose it in the EVF due to the delay and I actually have to take my eye off the EVF to see what flower it went to next. But at high refresh I can see it move and move with it in the EVF.
