Received my copy a few days ago. Got some nice weather yesterday morning so took it for a test drive.
So far I am happy with the image quality, AF slows down quite a bit at the long end, but that could be that im using an older a7RII.

This lens is a great allrounder. I think it's good enough (at least for non-critical stuff) for landscape shots stopped down. I'll have to compare it to my C/Y 35-70 when I have time but seems pretty good around f/6.3 - f/9 depending on focal length. As has been said, OOF draw is definitely not it's strength.
