Mine arrived this evening via UPS.
Took me a while to figure out how to get the shutter into all electronic mode,.. damn is that cool, absolutely no sound at all!
An update: both cameras are great, but neither of the Sandisk CFExpress card readers work! The USB-C connection to the back of the reader is really wiggly and is not mounting on my MPB when you put a card in it. I have tried restarting, using a different ubs-c cable, different card, putting card in reader before it's plugged in, after it's plugged in, different usb-c port and no luck. This is true for the Sandisk Card Reader that came with both cameras. Fortunately I ordered a ProGrade CFExpress reader which is working great.
Check the customer reviews on amazon - this SANDISK reader seems to be a big mess. Wondering that Canon did put them into the package. Read somewhere that in UK (and in Germany) the readers will be omitted and you get a voucher for it.

I have not tried the Sandisk yet. I bought a Blackjet with thunderbolt and it works great. When I get a second I will check mine out. Terrible if they shipped them out still not working. I know the Cinema camera had issues with the reader too.

Welcome to the future that we have all been enjoying for years now with mirrorless cameras

Yeah, I read that too... that is why I bought other reliable readers ahead of time. I'm still a little surprised that Canon would include a faulty reader on a $6500 camera.
Nevertheless it is a fantastic camera! I have no regrets.
Yes! Had to press constantly pushing on card to keep connection while downloading. Connectors were difficult to insert properly.
Just ordered Prograde card reader. UPDATE: Called and emailed Canon about Sandisk CFExpress card reader problems. One rep said call Sandisk. Another rep said they would send a replacement
Sandisk card reader. Got email today (February 20) that the replacement reader should
arrive today. fgphoto wrote:

I hope this is OK to post on this thread.
CF Express cards are 20% off today at Prograde Digital. Code CFXFEB20.
(I am not affiliated with this company).
Thanks for sharing Gail. I’m sure all new owners will appreciate the heads up and more likely to see it here than in the General Gear section.
It is good to see some competition already that will keep prices in check unlike XQD.

However, the cards are also discounted through B&H Photo, and you can use your Payboo card if you have one to get them for much cheaper than through prograde's website.
Edit to say: Also just be aware that the Prograde cards currently out are their Gold line, and not their Cobalt / Platinum line. These gold cards have a significantly slower write speed than SanDisk Extreme Pros. The 128GB cards only write at 600MB/s and the 256GB do 1000MB/s. Compare this to SanDisk at 1400MB/s.

The best of both worlds so far...
But a big thanks to him for showing what the camera can do.
Well, considering he shot most of the game in LV...and wished they had made the internals of this into an R1...I think he still believes they are at least dying if not dead yet

Well, for one, this camera has been in the works even before the R was introduced. There are DSLRs in the pipeline as we would reasonably assume.
, he said he was shooting horizontical.... too funny.
