Lightroom here. Haven't found anything that allows me to import, label, process, do some photoshop, adjust for printing using profiles and proofing and finally print. Very seemless using Lzr, not so much other applications including C1.
For several years I've maintained licenses for both Lightroom and C1. Lightroom is my primary tool, but I would fire up C1 when I had a particularly difficult group of images that I thought C1 might do a better job on. However, for at least two years now, I've had very few/no cases where it was worth the extra effort. I attribute this to Adobe's efforts to improve Lightroom, and my increasing experience with both tools. For me at least, the old 'C1 is a better raw processor' argument has been mooted; it's the other stuff that makes the difference.
I keep about 200,000 images in my library, spanning 50 years of work, which Lightroom lets me handle with ease. Lightroom's organizational, tagging, sorting, finding, sharing and publishing tools, plus face detection and many great plug-ins put it far beyond C1 for my needs.
This, combined with PhaseOne's ever-increasing upgrade prices (and obvious plan to move to subscriptions) mean I'll no longer be updating C1.

Very similar for me. Once C1 dropped the heavily subsiidized Sony license plan and I got a chance to see their normal license fees and yearly upgrade fees and OMG preset prices, easy choice for me to stick with Adobe cloud as my main editor. In fact I really like Adobe cloud for my workflow which exists on multiple devices.
OTOH, C1 for Sony tethering might be a serious consideration for studio work. Wonder why Adobe doesn't offer a robust Sony tethering for Sony like they do for Canon/Nikon? Or has something changed with LR+ Sony tethering that I missed ?
I've been using LR for years, but I'm finding that C1 handles colors better, definitely for Fuji, I have a lot more control over how far things can get pushed without it starting to look wonky. I can push, but it still looks very natural I think. wordfool wrote:

IMO Lightroom is no longer king of the hill when it come to raw processing and speed, but as a package that includes plenty of DAM and output capabilities, plus a huge user base for presets and plugins, it is still unmatched.
I used to think the Lightroom vs. anything else argument was simply about subscription vs perpetual license, but it seems a lot of folks simply don’t like Adobe’s business practices in general and its often-bloated software in particular. Lightroom Classic for me. Tried the Sony C1 version but passed. Been an Adobe user for eons, so probably too habituated (& old) to change.
I do think it's great that C1 is around to keep Adobe on it's toes.

PhaseOne hasn't dropped the subsidized Sony plan...
Their Styles packs are pricey, but 3rd party styles are starting to become available. The good deals will always be 3rd party although Phase does do some aggressive sales periodically on Styles.

If you shoot Fuji, C1 is a no-brainer.
For other systems the difference isn't as marked, but C1's colour correction tools are well ahead of LR's (a legacy of C1's origins as a MFDB/Studio specific RAW editor)
LR mainly and starting to move to C1. So far things look good. C1 seems a better tool if you shoot tethered. Price wise both seem similar. People complain about Adobe's subscription plan but if you buy during the holidays, it is only $80/year.
Used LR for years and have been using C1 on and off for a year or so and I don't think I can completely switch to it. My biggest complain with C1 is the cataloging and overall UI. To me LR seems to be a lot easier to use compared to C1. Importing/tagging/exporting/watermarking is a lot simpler in LR than C1. Though C1 might be more flexible if you willing to spend time to understand the complexities.
With that said, I have found that C1 does produce better results specially under artificial light without a lot of PP.
I'm on Sony and Fuji and I actually quite liked what I've been able to get out of my X-H1 lately with C1. I'll see if I can do some stuff with the A7RIII later and do an edit from there. LR definitely seems to have a weird over sharpening effect on the Fuji files. mawz wrote:

Lightroom for me, if only for the simple fact it comes included with Photographer's Subscription package from Adobe.
I thought about C1's perpetual license, but it doesn't include future upgrades, so I really would not be saving that much, and it would be more of a hassle.
for you people who have C1 are you using the subscription version or perpetual license?
I had C1 pro 11 on my pc and upgraded it to Win 10 after having 7 for a long time. i found out 11 was no longer available and i had to upgrade to 12 for a cost of $150. didn't sit too well with me. I liked the output of C1 over Lightroom but disliked the user interface of c1. will probably wait till i get a new pc before i decide what to do.. lightroom is god awful slow on my old pc.

Just turn off sharpening in LR and use texture instead and sharpen in PS and you’ll get similar results with adobe.

I shoot Sony and Fuji and like Lightroom just fine. The Fuji issues are less than they used to be for X-Trans sensors. I shoot GFX and don't have an X-Trans sensor so there is issue with LR.
