I am enjoying the way this lens captures the different kinds of light in the various sunlight - plant images posted here. Here is a near sunset mum and a magnolia shade in bright afternoon.
By the way, I finally got to the bottom of the strange error message I was intermittently getting while using this lens. (mentioned back on page 57 and page 58 by me) The A7m3 camera is new to me and I was not accustomed to the many AF modes over my trusty old A7m2. There is a still camera setting called "AF in Focus Mag." that is not automatically disabled on my camera for this MF lens. When that is set, then of course when I tried to use focus magnification the camera complained that AF is not available. And of course I don't care that AF is unavailable because I know perfectly well that I am using a MF lens! Anyway, I have now turned that option OFF and will leave it off. So is this a lens issue? or a camera issue? or a user error issue? I do not know. But it is gone now that the odd option is OFF. And I am quite happy.
