Has anyone used the 28 9e on an M240 generation body?
I love the look of the new LLL lens but that M240 sensor does not play well with wide angles and I have pretty tight standards with regard to peripheral color and Italian flag. My M262 had nasty cyan edges with the 28 ultron (current version, now sold) and I even see issues with my 28 elmarit v3.

From my testing on both the M10 and M9-M there aren't any issues so far. I dont see any forseeable issues with the M240 Generation Bodies.
Some Photos from my US Trip in October, shot taken on 9E.
I have been using my LLL 28mm f/2.8 9E with my M-P 240 for a month now. The IQ is great. As someone mentioned it, it's not as clinical as the Voigtlander 28mm f/2 Ultron Type II.
No worries, Fred - thank you for the offer, though. The lens has enough going for it, I'm going to grab one when Popflash has the black paint version in stock shortly. I'll report back what I find at that point.
I got my copy of LLL 28mm f/2.8 9-element (BP) a few days ago. It's well made and aperture and focus actions are very positive, tight and smooth. I felt LLL is improving their overall quality control over the past few years. I took it out with M11 for a morning walk today. All the images below were taken at f/2.8 and there were very minimum processes applied. The lens was coded as Leica Elmarit 28/2.8 (v3), 11804.

I really love your post processing, do you mind sharing if you are using certain presets/profiles? Thanks!
Thank you! I use Vsco, usually their basic simulations, the film stock ones primarily and others when I don’t find one that suits what I try to do. After that I tinker with the usual tools in Vsco or Lightroom. I don’t use presets or profiles other than starting with a simulation(sometimes I don’t though, with character lenses, you can often get something that doesn’t need to), I don’t believe much in using the same preset to edit a bunch of photos, I don’t feel it replicates the consistency of a film roll, so I edit each photo individually.
One of the main features I love about the optical quality of the '1966' is that out-of-focus specular highlights are evenly illuminated (if you can ignore the onion ring structures). I can't think of many (any) 6/4 double-gauss lenses that can do that. It has a truly unique signature.
It’s such a great project to resurrect that lens in black brass. I wanted to get one for ages but was discouraged by its chrome only look and the fact that it was expensive even in a sore state.
I hope that they didn’t improve on the coating too much, the warm cast and orange flares were a signature look.
