I think the EVF is at 200% at max enlargement. That's why it's not sharp at full magnification. The M's are the same.

I remember we were talk about this in Panasonic S thread and I think it looks very similar to S1 at max zoom condition. I would way more prefer Leica let me select zoom ratio as Nikon did that single hit will bring 50%, 100% or 200% depend on your setting.
It workable but just not pleasing to view. The best implementation with SL2 is using M glass, turning back wheel will change zoom ratio. So natural. However, I can't do this with S or L glasses as wheel default to aperture or EC depend on your setting. Then back button in manual focus mode was set as AF on that the only way you decouple the shutter AF with Leica Camera.(another minor complain) So I can't use it for zoom, I have to reprogram another button for zoom. and one hit will bring you to 200% every time you need turn back wheel under this condition to change zoom ratio.
It is a minor problem but still I think I should mention this as neg.

I think the whole company is just filled with a bunch of designer type guys sitting around sketching things out with a pencil and paper. Then they just hand off the design to someone and later assemble the parts so they can say "made in Sweden"
Haha, I have no experience with modern Hassy. I love the 500CM I had. I like their design look. My impression mostly come from Leica S users in LUF which they seems all have some negativity when talking about Hassy X1Dx.

Hahaha both my medium format camera systems are flawed (S-System, XCD-System). Maybe I should've stuck with GFX instead of buying it and selling it a week later. Would have saved me a lot of $$ in the long run with the losses I took on the S/XCD I could have had a nice GFX kit.

Yep. They both are. And I've nearly pushed the button on the GFX many times. I know it makes sense but every time I pick one up I decide "not right now". As a camera slut that happens so rarely, I know it's a sign.

p.s. don't ask me about the very black little camera I might have picked up from the red dot dealer today. Although I think it's faulty. I can't seem to find a white balance setting.
