My first and last shooting with the Tamron 35mm 1.4 before I sold it, couldln't keep two 35mm's at the same time. But if I manage to sell my Nikon, I will prolly get the Tammy.
I repurchased this lens again after finally selling my 35mm 1.4g, could test it out last time.
Even though it is like one of the sharpest lenses ever, it still retains a painterly falloff. The biggest advantage over the Nikon imho is, the pictures still remain sharp at higher iso. It is super heavy with the FTZ Adapter though. hopefully I can live with it since this lens is superb without any faults.
Anyone try this out with F5/F6 film bodies? Wondering if there are any issues as I'd like to add another 35 but have tried both the Sigma/Nikon 1.4's in the past and didn't quite LOVE them.
f5/f6 can use G series lenses without issues. (can't use E series for sure). I know some guys in the film community have issues with 3rd party af lenses which is why i'm asking.
