Maybe they're like goldfish and grow as big as the container will let them?
I transplanted a Japanese maple bonsai from a small pot to my yard about 12 years ago, now it's about 9' tall, not a bonsai anymore.

Not sure about growth, I think someone said that when the story first broke in Ohio, but beyond my knowledge. Thought you'd get a kick out of that story.
A bit of gear porn early this morning.

For the scrutinizing eye you'll see I added a 6 inch long plate to which
the Kirk Security Strap is attached; also using the Op-Tec Uni-Loop for insurance
on the long walks.
I do 'product' photography about 2-3 times a year so no nit picking

I took this photo last week at work with my Sony A7R4 and 100-400 lens. This is straight from the camera to iPad. I didn’t get a chance to post process it. I like this combination a lot
"Double M"..I have had this lens for at least 15+ years. One of my very 1st purchases here on B&S. It is an excellent lens as you have proven!!
Darn sharp and clear!!!

Dan, you get an extra feature you didn't get with any of the Canon bodies (up to this point) with that lens, namely the IBIS!

Thanks Dan.
I too owned it long ago before a spiel into several 'big whites'. I'd forgotten it in lieu of
the faster and longer Canons. Glad I remembered it! At this point in my aging progression
ability to carry and swing are paramount. Super thanks to Sigma for making this lens viable
on my Sonys.
