Watched an otter kill a Canada Goose and then drag it up onto a dock and devour it with his buddies. Later on the eagle came in for the scraps but couldn't find away to get under the ramp where the otters stashed it.

Otters may be cute but dang they're vicious! Another great set!

I had a similar experience with an alligator and crane a few years ago at rookery.

What a nice thread to follow. Simply put: images from the Sony A9(II) + 600GM (+1.4TC) remain quite simply the best to my eyes. One look browsing through this thread and I somehow lose all interest in the Canon R5

Totally agree, Chris! Don't be shy to put the 2x on, either. The 600 GM handles it with aplomb.

I hope to own one of these one day, such a nice way to get close to wildlife and birds. 1200mm f8 is very, very impressive and what a great image!
