A tad too strong on the NR Joshua. Otherwise a nice species.
Thank you! That was my first using Topaz AI DeNoise and and it was the default setting of that noise reduction software.

I apologize for repeating myself, but I still can't get over how well the A7Riv pairs with the 600GM in good light.
Tons of activity in Ponce Inlet (New Smyrna Beach, FL) yesterday. Including a couple osprey fishing. This series started quite a ways out, even for the 600GM. After the Osprey picked up his fish, he circled back almost directly overhead.
First image is non-cropped to show how far out the catch was. The rest are cropped so you can see that the combo did a good job focusing. The last shot was just barely cropped. In fact, I was worried that it might get too close

Nice shot ! Can't get anywhere near that close to them here in AZ. I see them all the time but from a greater distance
I was lucky to be approx. 40 feet away, with A7RIV and 600Mm + 1.4 TC, there is a plenty of resolution. I have to comeback and visit AZ, loved the Gilbert park when I was there in November.
I know that birds generally like to keep their distance, but the Western Meadowlarks take it to a whole new level. Out this morning with the 600 f/4 and 2X extender (a9), and simply couldn't get anywhere near them. This image was cropped too, so I'm going to call it an intentional "environmental" shot.
