My first image from Bosque del Apache and this time around, I focused more on getting panning images at fairly low shutter speed to convey movement. Plus, I used the 2X TC a fair amount...
Haha, that's the spirit! Did you make it home already or still in transit when you posted this. I remembered you said something about Sunday night... but you are 3 hours ahead... so, I am not sure! It was great meeting you and shooting with you, Mitesh!

Hey Joshua,
I arrived home at 1:30am Sunday. So, it was 30 hours of driving and 38 total hours after leaving Bosque. Totally worth it! Meeting up with you, Bobby, Birdie, Luz, Fred, Dash, and Shibu was the best part of the trip. Thanks and looking forward to the next trip!
I picked the worst possible time of year to buy the 600 f/4. The weather since receiving it has been atrocious, and not many birds around either. I got out this morning though and got a few shots of Common Goldeneye and Buffleheads with the a9 and 2X extender.

Nicely captured. I feel your pain with the weather, it's pretty much the same here but with an added dose of Britishness to it Glad to see you're enjoying the new toy.
