Ok, that was me and thank you. Those are all handheld. Where I shoot these a tripod or monopod just isn’t practical. Most of those are at 840mm f/5.6
Two backlit images of a female hooded merganser; one showing the rim light of her “spiky hair” and yet still plenty of light to render details of her. The second one was more a regularly exposed image of a bright background, underexposing her. Frankly, I could have lifted the shadow and I overexposed that a little but I thought rendering her as a silhouette is interesting, too as an alternative look.
