Wow, that's pretty impressive. What's the bortle in that location?
Thanks, the bortle is anywhere between 4-6 depending on where you go around the Palouse.
I have a request to the forum members, if someone has this 45mm and sigma 28-70 zoom on their hands. Compare these lenses for the "nature of blurring" (bokeh) at comparable focal lengths of 45 mm. Ideally, add another tamron 28-75 G2. I just really wonder how big the difference is ?
Looking at the image on my computer, the difference is very very slight, at least to me. The zoom’s bokeh might be a little busier, but only when looked at side by side. These are untouched SOOC JPEG’s.
Yeah, I think the difference on these shots is so slight most people would not notice it.
I think you'd need to shoot something a bit further (like >3m) and include some transition zone in the frame. There I'd expect the prime to be visibly smoother.
Been using this lens for around a year. It's given me so many keepers. Not sure if it's the (new to me) FL, but most likely the rendering what makes me take this lens over any other as a daily driver.
Really love my 24, 35 and 65mm F2 Series I lenses on my A7RIV. Looking through this thread I wanted to try the 45mm f2.8 for the special bokeh, even if I don't use it all the time. Ordered it today at Adorama new for only $229, what a deal, hard to pass up!!

That's a good looking kit right there...the 24 - 35 - 45 - 65 selection you have now is a wonderful set of primes. Depending on the 24 mm you have, that's a lot of good looking, quality glass at about 1200 grams
EDIT: I see you have the 24/2, so just over 1200 grams

Also need to through caps, filters, hoods and pouches there.
