I took this back on Jan 1st, 2020. With all this self-quarantine that most people are doing, I suppose every day is "Throw-Back-Thursday" or "Flashback Friday"

Seeing how the usually empty nature areas are now being overrun by idiots I took to my last resort today and dusted off the kayak. However, the ducks were trying to social distance themselves from my kayak but I nailed a few as they took off or flew by...

Beautiful captures. Seems the 7RM4 and this lens still work fine even in darker conditions. (Y)
Same problem here- they just closed all public parks and beaches due to irresponsible socializing.

Great set!
What is your verdict of the A7RIV vs A9 with the 200-600mm strictly for IQ on relatively slow birding?
I am weighing my options to trade in my Canon 400DOII and other stuff to get the 200-600 with either the A7RIV or the A9, and the 1.4TC and call it a day. I have an A7RII that can take an upgrade...
What attracts me to the A7RIV, is the ability to use the 200-600 without a tc. I've grown kind of weary of the effects of tc's on various types of shooting where not all is ideal. It's perfectly fine to have the option available, but I would like to have a long lens standard option without tc again like in the Pentax DA560 days. I will keep the D500+500PF set though for sheer portability.
