Thank you, Peter! In the previous page I posted another sequence of a bald eagle trying to catch a fish but missed. The A9 may give you more frames/wing positions to choose from but if the A9's files are cropped like I cropped these A7RIV files, I am not sure how much details there are there left to see. It's really a trade-off.

Thanks. I did try an A9, but without native glass, which makes a big difference. The main difference I notice is the user interface, with better buttons and a faster response to things like changing shutter speed. The speed of the camera and the quality of the images is basically the same.

The pictures below are from a sequence of an eagle catching fish directly facing me. Unfortunately, the focus was not on the head of eagle in the majority of the shots in the sequence. I think even for these four it's focus was off too but not as bad as the rest in the sequence. Shot with the A7RIV.
