First shoot with the Sony A9 II 200-600mm. All jpegs . New version seems a bit snappier all the way around. Ergonomics are better. None of the differences are earth shattering but if you can afford it it's worth it IMHO. Battery definitely lasted longer. Will check out the faster mechanical shutter next time out.

Really like SmugMug . Simple interface and fast. I thought I would share a Nothern Pintail taking off to display the amazing tracking ability of the A9 200-600mm combo. There are a few cropped images included as well. Click on the play button and you can manually advance the frames

Send send to Az please On another topic the 7RM3 images look better than the IV to me
Az is part of their normal range so just look harder
They come like bullets to callback at least during breeding season up here. I didn't even recognize the little guy in the picture as they are a lot more fancy with rusty orange crowns during breeding season when I see them.

The coloring is just not what I accustomed to seeing here. To be honest I usually don't pay much attention to sparrows in general

The shots of the eagle flying upstream were taken just as the first rays of sunlight started to clear the trees. These are from a sequence of 44 shots. The A9 is an impressive beast. The shooting specs can be seen in the top left of the frames.
