My wife went out to refill the hummingbird feeders yesterday when she noticed a doe giving birth to her fawn. It was a Nat Geo moment lol.
We had a storm roll through today and I mentioned I had hoped the doe and fawn were out of the rain and under cover. Two seconds later, she spotted them. I grabbed the camera and snapped some shots. I can't wait to see them around when they are dry.

The beaches of Puget Sound in Deception Pass, WA, were lined with fishermen this morning. Must be some fishing season has opened or something. But my wife and I didn't see any action until we noticed this cormorant (Pelagic, I think). I watched and saw three dives out of four produce a fish to eat within a 4 to 7 minute time span.

I ran across these guys after the sun was behind the mountains... they were pretty far out... I ended up at 600mm + crop mode for the two bigger bucks. I hope the young buck is able to drop the damaged antler, it was like a water balloon attached to the side of its head.
