Looking at a Snowy Egret in Breeding Plumage standing on one leg and reflection.
Full Frame, tripod mounted 200-600mm G set to 600mm and Sony A7rIII camera; silent shutter.
ISO 200, f6.3, 1/2000 second.

Thank you so much! It was a super-patient bird that did not mind my getting relatively close.
Here is a different view of this guy (or girl?)
For light - I was lucky to have the bird in full winter sun. For color, this is a different story.
I use DxO Photolab for PP, and anyone familiar with the program would know that there are different color profiles - emulations of the "color science" of different camera brands. I like the Leica SL color profile, and use it sometimes instead of the default a1 profile. This time, I really liked the colors of Leica M, as implemented in DxO PL.

You never know what you might see while out and about... always have the camera with you
The whitetail bucks are in rut right now, this one was trailing the sent of a female and didn't really care I was in the area. Love photographing these guys!
