I've never been to Conowingo.
My shots (today anyway) are from St. Paul Mn. by a nest.
The resident eagles are adding sticks, and warding off other eagles from their nesting area.

Spent a couple of evenings waiting for the right light and the right bird to show up so I could get a "pink bird in a pink sky" shot. Well, it's not quite what I had envisioned, but it's the best I could do.

I see that you have the newer "A" version of the A7RIV, which I also purchased a month ago. I mean to use it for all of my shooting, including wildlife/birding. I am now considering getting the 200-600G lens, or save up longer and go straight to the 600GM.
How is the AF with the newer A7RIV A and the 200-600G working for you?

It works great, even with the TC attached… but I never had any issues with the previous A7R IV either.

Looking at a swimming Common Gallinules and reflection in warm magic hour early morning light.
Cropped, tripod mounted 200-600mm G set to 600mm and A7rIII; silent shutter.
ISO 800, f6.3, 1/200 second.
Exposure Corrected +0.09 Stops.
