Hi George,
I'm starting to understand the camera more each time out. The big adjustment (for me) is letting the camera do it's job in the AF department. Placing the AF point on the subject and just letting it track / do its job is a pivot from my shooting habits of the past. Now I'm trying to focus more on composition while tracking the subject. I still need lots of work in this area. Another thing...I have to keep telling myself...is to use the zoom on the 200-600 lol. I've shot primes for so long that I forget I can zoom in or out and track the subject. It's been fun learning how to use the combo...still need more time/practice with the setup.

This is the best image I've ever seen of the Comorant. The eye is perfect. I spend a lot of time shooting in the ocean and know how hard it is to capture these guys. This is superb. The color in the eye is my favorite part of this remarkable image. Well Done!

A couple from this past Monday afternoon. It was a treat photographing eagles in short sleeves. Unfortunately, that weather is long gone. Photos were taken with the A9ii/200-600 with 1.4tc.
