p.266 #2 · Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G Image Thread
Made a recent re-visit to local tidal flats with fellow member 1bwana1. We arrived shortly after sunrise with an extreme low tide. Birds were plentiful and actively feeding. Nice lighting with sun coming up over clear horizon but muted by low layer of clouds. We basically camped out in one spot and enjoyed the show. Here are some of my pics.

After a scuffle with the sibling, this juvenile peregrine falcon thought that it would be easy to enjoy the meal. But as it turned out, it had a tough time taking apart the kill that the parent brought over. It simply didn’t know what to do with it. Now, he/she was screaming for help but the noise attracted the sibling that always waited for opportunities to snatch the meal back...

If you have an A9 and the 200-600, and live in the midwest where trumpet vines grow, then it is required that you post a minimum of one of these per year, or your equipment warranties are canceled

A few of the little egrets fishing from a local lake with the A9 + 200-600. This guy is now in breeding plumage.
The fish were tiny but I have never seen an egret or heron catch a large fish in Australia, so I'll take what I can
