Dunling - winter shot. This fellow lived through the winter even though we had some severe snowfalls (compared to no-snow years before). Pic takes at the very end of winter.

A hungry peregrine falcon chick that cannot fly yet when I took the image a few months back. The dad brought a kill and she/he tried to get to it while screaming "Feed me! Feed me!"...

Had the recent pleasure to meet in person with forum member 1bwana1 down at our local San Diego River Tidal Flats. He had just received his new A1 to pair with his 200-600, and I had my A7Riv with my 200-600. A very pleasant morning at low tide provided a good variety of targets throughout our visit with the biggest challenge being the birds were typically 30 - 100+ yards away. Due to the distance I shot exclusively in crop mode and still had to so some extensive cropping in post, but still got some decent shots to commemorate the visit.

Picked up an A9 and a 200-600. Had previously sold all my gear due to a Medical condition. 5 surgeries in last 2 months. Prognosis is still not real great, but Doc says I'll have more time than originally thought if chemo works.
I had considered giving up photography, but found that it is one of the things that keeps me going. Along with my Faith, Family, and Friends!
Hope you enjoy. Hope to post many more pics! All with A9 and 200-600 with and without 1.4 TC
