took a Sony loaner unit with me to Chincoteague, VA this past week. It definitely has it uses, just not on the shopping list currently. All shot with Sony A7r4.

I assume you were referring to #5, yes, it looks a bit like great blue heron's neck!

Great swallow shot and video

Some more of yellow crown in backlit conditions with a bigger crab than normal. All at 600mm, f6.3, 1/2500, ISO 640.

1. Looking for prey


2. The wait


3. The lunge


4. Head was under water for a while struggling with something before the catch emerged


5. Pulling free


6. Tug of war


7. Separating the crab from the salad


8. Take the catch to dry land to break it up


9. Softening the shell


10. Shake until the legs fall off and shell splits open


11. Eat the now bite sized pieces
