Gentlemen, gentlemen..........we all have different beliefs.....let's respect all those even if we disagree! Let's all take a deep breath!
Just ignore, I know it can be hard, any offensive remarks in the "open" forum and save any discourse for a PM to those you disagree with or are offended by.
Let's keep to posting those great images!!!
Peace!
Dan

Medicine Man: just a gentle critique here. I think you could have made a photo with **much** greater visual impact if you had used a wide angle, say 12-15mm, instead of a telephoto for this image. Preferably manual focus.

These two sibling wild turkey poults are probably just about 6 months old now, and growing fast. They have been much more shy than the ones we had last year (I have posted several images over on the Nikon DX thread of some of the wild turkeys we had last spring), but they suddenly seem a tad more willing to have me around now, so I look forward to seeing them grow over the fall and winter.

Another of the siblings. Apparently it is a myth that Ben Franklin thought the national bird should be the wild turkey and not the bald eagle, but he did argue that the turkey was a more "honorable" bird. Maybe if it was the national bird I wouldn't be the only one posting turkeys here, and all you folks posting your bald eagles would be looking for turkeys instead
