Just won a used S1 on eBay to pair with my fp. Also got the battery grip for $200 and some spare batteries. Might try and get the Sigma 105 1.4 in the next few months.
First with Zeiss 2/35 (classic) using MC21. I had not realised how good this lens is with close focus subjects.
Second is sunset next to our house using Sigma 135 L mount version.
Third with Otus 55 ZE with Sigma M21 back in the spring.
Fourth with Zeiss 2/100 macro, which I recently acquired and have been enjoying.

Nice shots! And you also have a very nice ZE lineup! They are undervalued these days with the slow demise of DSLR's IMO. My personal favourite is the 50/2 Makro-Planar, with the 100/2 Makro-Planar & 25/2 Distagon tied for a close second. I've often eyed the ZE 55 Otus..... If one pops up at the right price I'll grab it.
I agree! The Zeiss lenses work great with the S1 and the MC21, with all the focusing aids and such a great viewfinder, focusing is fine. I wondered about the 2/25, it seems a good option. I see there is a 1.4/25 as well, or the Otus 1.4/28, but obviously much more $$$. The Otus 55 is great, creates some stunning images. I got it s/h at a reasonable price and they hold their value, so more of an investment.
