My first outing with S1R, testing Elmar24 (Needs LCC ) and Otus 85. Slightly out of critical focus, my eyes ain't what they used to be (Need my Own LCC ), & magnification on s1r is woeful. Multishot mode is cool, but subject must be totally still. Above is a 47mp mode.
S1R + HD Pentax-D FA645 F/3.5 35mm AL [IF] + HighResMode @ F/11
First shots with this Pentax 35, using fotodiox p645 to nikon f + novoflex nikon f to leica l adpaters stacked. Infinity focus fine, tight fitting all around.
Really pleased with the performance of this lens. Great Pentax colors, excellent sharpness, well corrected, mild sensor interaction green fringing at extreme edges on high frequency edges. Very good diffraction correction. Retrofocus design a winner on the S1R, excellent manual focus and aperture controls. A major player in adaptable wide angle lenses, for certain.
Don't have a step up ring to the 86mm polarizer yet.
