Lovely composition.. I love when fog envelopes a forest and wetland.
I think the 100-400 is pretty light and compact. It is a great all purpose landscape / wildlife lens. I suppose that the new 70-180mm lens with 1.4x could be a light and even more compact alternative.

Bruce,
Thank you for your kind words. You are right that for what it is, 100-400 is a light weight lens. For someone like me, when this is the longest lens I currently own, and not using it for wildlife, it is the heaviest lens in my bag. I end up choosing not to take it with me as often as I would like. Same thing happened with Zeiss APO sonar 135mm. At least, with 100-400, I have the vast flexibility of focal length, so ,I just need to nudge myself a bit more.

The estate is a very tricky place to navigate.
Yes. I do like Brutalist architecture. Your post got me curious and looked it up. It does seem to be known to be confusing to maneuver, and apparently, some people believe there some ghost siting in some of the buildings. Interesting.
Tried something new for me yesterday. Got up with a friend and went to target shooting so I decided to bring the camera and try to see if I couldnt get some bullets in air.
