I come from the analog age, I liked the work in the darkroom very much, but so far I didn't have the leisure to really work out digital postprocessing in detail, up to Luminosity Masks, e.t.c..
Unfortunately, at 57, I'm in an age range where it doesn't fly to you anymore, you have to watch a lot of tutorials over and over and that's not where the fun of photography is for me.
I didn't do much post sharpening here, the building with very subtle "Smart Sharpen" settings via Photoshop and some clarity via masking the building via LCR.
The first image is with Image Averaging / AHDR technique, 8 frames per panorama vertical shot to get some flow into the clouds, give them a slightly more cottony look.
The Image Averaging via PS (open as layers/convert to smart object/stack mode mean) then gives the image a subtle HDR look, besides more latitude in lifting the shadows, in exposures with priority to the highlights.
Apart from that, the CV 35mm f/2 Apo-Lanthar is also an extreme lens, especially when you see the panoramas in full resolution, the level of detail + correction of optical abberations, the fine resolution, contrast and clarity of this lens are absurdly high....Show more →
Vento, I would be happy if I had your PP skills !! The magic is probably the combination of how you controlled the harsh day light, the subtle HDR and the lens. CV 35mm APL. is definitely a superb lens. I have Nikon 35/1.8, which is quite good, may be not as good as APL, but is an AF so I probably won't get 35mm APL. But, I may get the 40/1.2 with the dreamy rendition, it is hard to resist, and since I do not have any 40mm, I have an excuse. Of course, I am ignoring the fact I have 35mm, 50mm, 55mm, 58mm covered. with primes and also with a zoom
