Stumbled upon the same cormorant I snapped a portrait of last week, easily identified by the unique plumage...but this time with friends. Also...hard to believe, but these are the first shots I've ever shot on any Nikon in DX mode vs cropping in post. I should do that more often, AF tends to work better
What happened to the official Z9 image thread? Some shots from this past Xterra New Jersey weekend. Back to back races.. As a side, didn't have much luck with my Sigma 100-400 F mount on the Z9, with the FTZ adapter. The combo worked before the race. During the actual swim, in the race, the lens wasn't recognized by the Z9. Mounted on my Z6, same thing. It worked eventually on the Z6 but...it was a risk I was taking since I knew there is something wrong with my ftz adapter.
