Beautiful light on these!
I love your area of the country... I've spent many weeks across multiple years photographing the Olympic Peninsula and islands stretching from Port Angeles through the SW corner of AK... I've always dreamt of living somewhere on the Peninsula... maybe some day .

Thanks! Yes, this is a beautiful area. But to live here (west of the Cascade Mountains), you need to like clouds and rain! There are times and places where you can literally go weeks without seeing the sun. The NE corner of the Olympic Peninsula is a relatively drier area, being in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains.

I'll take your clouds over my months long stretch of 20 degree F highs
I went out yesterday afternoon during our moonsoon season to get some photos with the flat lighting. Compass barrel cactus ( named as that as the tend to lean into the Southwest ) Leica Elmarit 135 F2.8 lens head on Leica bellows 11. Menue not showing correct exif.
