Lovely, lovely portrait, Joshua!
How do you like the 70-200/4 GII? And how do you like it compared to the 70-200/2.8 GMII?
Thank you very much, Peter! For travel, that lens that can also do close up photography well is just about perfect as long as you can get by with f/4 as the largest aperture. Frankly, the f/2.8 II can do a few aspects better than its smaller brother but, as you know, it is quite a bit heavier and larger. As such, it tends to be left home for general travel purposes. Unless I know it will be used for a specific purpose, like in a few months to Japan.

What is your solution if you want to travel light (no big lenses) but might want to get beyond the 280mm that the GII + a 1.4X TC give you? I have wondered about the E 70-350mm for that situation.

If I am traveling light and not on photography-oriented trip, then I am perfectly fine with just the 1.4X TC and yes, the f/4 G II. Not enough reach? Oh, well, photography life is full of compromises and you cannot have the perfect lens for all circumstances. In other words, I would not fret about it.

Repost from the FE thread:
New York Comic Con, A7RV, 50/1.2GM, Godox AD200 Pro + Ring Flash Head + Grid
I've had this ring flash for awhile but haven't had a chance to really use it. I didn't feel like lugging the beauty dish across the city so I just stuck the grid on and packed it in my backpack. Shot one handed and used my other hand to hold the ring flash raised and to the left. Worked pretty well. Just a little bit of fill light goes a long way.

Nice flash coverage. Question though, as you mention Ring Flash a couple of times. Were these with an actual Godox Ring Flash or the Godox H200R Round Head flash accessory, shown below, that snaps on to the AD200? I am interested in the H200R for my AD200's, but Godox does not describe them as a Ring flash.
