If real life solutions fail, I use my “frequency separation steamer” in post and it works just fine. But yeah that would be annoying to do every time. Can’t steam iron it from the non-painted side/back for greater effect? I guess I’ve never tried.
Sometimes adding a weight at the bottom of the canvas can reduce the wrinkles as well.

I tried though it was admittedly kind of a half asses attempt. The issue with this one in particular is it’s from Gravity who are pretty heavy handed with the paint. It makes the canvas much stiffer. So it’s not just trying to release a wrinkle in the fabric, but also a fold in the paint if that makes sense? Maybe I’ll try the steamer again and just really turn it up on the backside. Thanks.

These are my first few attempts playing with a 25 inch gridded softbox and Godox AD400. The control of light spill compared to working with umbrellas and speedlights makes achieving this type of look feel like cheating!

Lovely image! I can't wait until my 70-200 GM II arrives. Your photos are making me jealous!

GabrielPhoto, I love the lighting. Is the vflat on camera left essentially being used as a flag to block the ambient light? Is there also a reflector below the model’s face or is that a reflection from the floor?
