On a self portrait kick lately. This one with my new 85/1.8 using the phone app to control, what a lovely lens, and a great price to boot. Also playing with a Portra 400 simulation, I rather like the look of it.

I'm testing these days DXO photolab and I'm loving it. The best color for Sony files. This pictures are pretty much vanilla, just with the Canon EOS R film emulation in the program. I only edited a bit more the first one to enhance the lighting a bit and desaturating the background a tad.
And still frustrated with my Samyang 85. I love it, but the AF in AF-C is very inconsistent and tends to front focus. This picture, even at 2.8, it's pretty obvious that the focus is in the nose instead of the eye. 50% of the pictures are slightly front focused. It seems that using the separate eye-af button is a bit better, and definitely AF-S works better, but... (btw the previous one is as well a bit front focused)

Took the 135/1.8 for a quick spin with my favorite model. I'd rented it before and couldn't quite figure out the focal length, but had a nagging feeling I wanted to try it out again. Have some test shoots coming up I think it might work out well for.

Vinnie, your daughter is super cute and you captured her expression very well. Those are excellent and enjoyable images/

Went to the Sony Alpha Meetup in New Orleans last night, the models were great! I didn't borrow any gear, just shot with what I had on me. A7iii and Rokinon 85mm 1.4 AF

Whoa, you got that from the Samyang? That's crazy good.
