I am not sure how this thread will go but let's give it a try. A few people and portrait image threads couldn't get much traction as the specified lens seems to be too restricted. Images taken with any lens, including adapted lenses, can be posted in this thread as long as it is taken with a Sony camera, any Sony camera for that matter. Let the subject matter vary, too, as long as the main target is limited to people.
Please post your people/portrait images and you can cross post them in other or your favorite image threads, too. Here are a few images, some recent and some older, to get this thread going then. Thank you!

I just got my first Sony camera and looking for lens. Obviously late to this thread. Gorgeous images. May I ask which lens(es) you used? Thanks

Thank you very much and welcome to Sony! My portrait lens lineup has changed over the years. Currently, I still have my Batis 85mm f/1.8, the original GM 85mm f/1.4 and Sigma 105mm f/1.4. Those are prime short tele lenses geared for portraits. For local photoshoots, where size and/o weight doesn't matter much, I wouldn't mind carrying and using heavy lenses. Or on portrait-oriented oversea trips, like the Mask Carnival in Venice, Italy. On regular international trips, I have taken the Batis 85mm lens although that lens is now facing some competition from smaller and lighter prime lenses, such as the Sigma 65mm f/2 DG DN and Sigma 90mm f/2.8 DG DN that I acquired later. Both are also excellent portrait lenses. The Batis 85mm is not heavy but a little bit on the bulky side compared to the Sigmas, especially the 90mm lens albeit at f/1.8 the Batis is aperture-wise faster.
More recently, I have taken just zoom lenses for leisure travels and used them for portraits or people images that I encounter while traveling. And they perform fine for that purpose, as well. Of course, the second version of Sony 70-200mm f/4 that can be used to do close-up is a great travel zoom. And, yes, it can perform portrait/people photography splendidly.
The overwhelming majority of my images posted here have the exif info displayed. You can look up the lens used there, in other words. I hope this gives a little insight on my lens lineup. Please feel free to ask any additional questions.
Previously, I posted an image that was posted here... my apologies. Here is a replacement, another image from the vault that I believe hasn't been posted in this thread. The old screw-driven Sony Zeiss 135mm f/1.8 was used here...

Joshua, what system do you use to keep track of what you have already posted? I find this a challenge. I guess I should be making notes in Lightroom.

Hi Ross, I used to do my final edit using Photoshop on my iMac. The final output was in TIF format that was converted into JPG for posting. Back then I relied on FM's own database to look up what I had posted. As long it doesn't go back to years, you can fairly easily go back and look it up. You go to profile and click "Your Upload". The database can be filtered by camera and lens, focal length, etc. Each page contains 20 images of what you had uploaded over the years. Again, as long as it is not too far back, this is a good way of finding out what you are after. I am attaching the most recent page of my "Your Upload"
Fast forward to the last two years or so - I am editing my files using LR on my iPad. My iMac is seldom used now. I export each RAW file and save it now on my Photo collection of my iPad. The images are arranged by dates they were originally created. If I export a file that was not posted previously, then there is only a single file there. If I export a file and the file happened to be posted earlier, then there is a copy already in my Photo collection. The drawback of this method, although it is faster and more convenient that it is okay to post the same image twice as long as they are not posted in the same thread... So, I posted some portrait/people images here and sometimes also in the big Sony FE Image Thread. With that said, even if you post the same image twice in the same thread, no big deal. This image thread or any others are to share your images with the community without strict rules. I am sure I did it more than once, too 😜.
