And thanks! Hmm never thought of it as a stock image actually, it was just a quick experiment when I saw the sun through it with the great colors
It's a carbon filament lamp so more or less just an "old school" bare bulb lamp. Shot from about 4-5 meters away with 840mm reach just before I sold my 300 F4 lens a few weeks back. I was actually just moving the camera, walking out the room when I saw the colors through it and then went for a composition

/Rasmus You sold your 300mm... what happened to cause that?

Well, I've been considering it a couple of months even though I've only had the lens for a year and a half.
Looking through my photos from the lens, while technically superb of course just as the lens in it self is, I realized that I don't get any sort of emotion from the photos taken with it. Now, that's not saying I get emotion from every other shot I take with other lenses but there was just pretty much no emotions or sense of connection with the 300mm for me. I THINK it has to do with the long reach, I just feel very very disconnected from both the photography in it self, and the result. And I did get some shots I was happy with of birds that I know I wouldn't have had with any shorter lens.
I might get the Panasonic Leica 200mm F2.8 in the future but not certain, I realize I much prefer shorter focal ranges and I put half the money (little more) from the 300 F4 in to a demo sample of the Panasonic Leica 42,5mm. Next lens will most likely be either the 12mm F1.4, 17mm F1.7 or the 8-18mm from Panasonic. I've already had a few shots with the 42,5mm Noct that I "feel" far more from that I ever did any from the 300mm.

Got it. It's interesting as I actually just received my XF 200mm f2.0 today as I looking to do more outdoor/nature shooting.
I haven't shot with or owned the Panasonic 42.5mm but I did own the 12mm f1.4 and man was that lens sharp wide open... I mean super sharp.
Here's a photo I took (using the 12mm f1.4) of my better half while strolling around in Chinatown, Bangkok at night. This photo is a SOOC jpeg 1/80s at f1.6. Although I shot this at f1.6 there's absolutely no degradation in sharpness when shooting at f1.4 Even though it's considered a speciality lens I loved using it for street shooting at night---it was worth every penny.

I really don't use the G9 much anymore since I got the Z6 and Z50 but I can't seem to make myself get rid of it.
Just sitting on the patio yesterday I decided to take the G9 with 100-400 in case something to happen by and this Chipmunk posed for a few seconds. Shutter speed kept low on purpose so I could keep the ISO down as he was in deep shade.

That's a really nice shot! I absolutely love the rendering of the Panasonic Leica glass. It's great to hear you really liked the PL 12. I first never considered it, too expensive for a focal length that most normal zooms like the 12-40 etc but with the realization that the special rendering of the Pl 25 1.4 wasn't just a lucky hit but it extends to most if not all other lenses in the PL series, it's now very much on my list of lenses to get soon. I love my fathers old Olympus 24mm for the original OM system and I believe the 12mm will remind me of that.
As for sharpness the same goes for the 42,5, super sharp wide open in a way that I can hardly understand. The 25 1.4 is superb as well but not quite up top the standards of the 42,5 or the 12 I see.
It's nice to hear you got the 200 XF, looks like an amazing lens that I hope Fuji sells more of! Apparently they sales of the lens has been lower than expected which in many ways is understandable considering the price of it and most people don't spend that money on gear, even if the gear is worth it.

I have been a bit too silent of late in posting. While I got the G9 mostly to pair with a PL100-400, I have not been getting out to do that lately. So, instead here are a few with the G9 and Oly 12-40 pro taken on a hike up to Potato Lake north of Durango Colo. This pair makes a nice hiking combo. Also, I am now very impressed with how easily and accurately ON1 produced panos from this trip. The second photo here was not even a planned pano, I just saw in going through the photos from the day that a couple of photos maybe could be combined, so I selected them and then it just happened.
An experiment that turned out better than expected
