p.1 #1 · Some birds from East Africa - image heavy
The Serengeti ecosystem has over 1,000 species identified, needless to say I only saw a tiny fraction! This wasn't a birding trip, the compromise with my wife was if it's beautiful or large it's ok, otherwise let's go find a cheetah!
Here are (too many) images of some of the birds we saw, Kenya and Tanzania are amazing birding locations if you look for them.
Comments always welcome,
BOB
PS, the names are to the best of my memory and may not be correct!

A+ set Bob.
I've been thinking of a trip to the Serengetti with family, and my son is mostly interested in birds, so nice to see the variety of our subjects (so far). Post more as you work through them.
Now, if you can just add bird ID's for each of your images.

It's a great place to travel, we've been there three time, Africa nine! Names added as best I recall.

Excellent series. Wonderful birds, doesn't matter to me what their names are. I wouldn't expect you to know unless the guide told you.

Terrific set of images of birds rarely posted. You have done a great job photographing them. YGMV.
BTW, I think it's a Ruppell's Griffon Vulture, p. 38, Wildlife of East Africa, Withers and Hosking.
