Some birds from East Africa - image heavy


The Serengeti ecosystem has over 1,000 species identified, needless to say I only saw a tiny fraction! This wasn't a birding trip, the compromise with my wife was if it's beautiful or large it's ok, otherwise let's go find a cheetah!

Here are (too many) images of some of the birds we saw, Kenya and Tanzania are amazing birding locations if you look for them.
