These are from a7III. Some are slightly cropped. With exception of image no. 14 I don't think I edited bokeh. With Sigma 24/1.4 on Nikon, I was editing bokeh to be smoother more often.
Some of these are lit with Godox AD200 flash with AD-S7 softbox handheld.
I take a lot of walks with my kid where I just take along one prime. I always find 24mm a little bit of a challenge in comparison to 55 or 85, but I just love using this lens.

I picked up this lens on my way to the airport in October. Destination: Liverpool. Obviously - and probably to the detriment of a lot of my shots - I shot it almost exclusively at 1.4 the entire four-day trip. I just couldn't help myself.
I love this lens. Light, compact and it just delivers every time. Liverpool was pleasure, but I have used it a lot for work, shooting news. 24 is certainly an excellent one lens-solution for a lot of things, and the 24GM is sharp, has great contrast and micro-contrast and most importantly: It has really fast and dependable AF unless you stop it down a lot. I find that I don't need to do much pp with this lens, except maybe "bluing" down shots. I can just pop it on and go. After working a lot with the Batis 40 the past few days I can see the 24GM and B40 becoming my go to-kit for a lot of things.
Here's some Liverpool-shots made with the 24GM and A7R III:

That is some of the best travel-series shots I’ve seen here on FM. Personally I love the edits!
I’ve had mine on order from B&H for a month, I hope I get it before Wednesday when I leave for a wedding in Spain.
Thanks a lot!
You're in for a treat. One of the best options out there for a travel lens in my opinion. If you don't get one from B&H, maybe they'll have one in Spain?
I got some flack from a few of the people I made the trip with for carrying around a "big, heavy camera" everywhere. To each his own, I guess. Most of the pictures I liked the most from the trip where taken in lighting-situations where I doubt a camera or compact would have prevailed - the before mentioned buddies of mine didn't have much to show on their phones at least
24/1.4 GM is super hard to find, I’ve been patient but it sucks to wait norwegiandude wrote:

No, but maybe the feedback is that the shits are nice but the editing is distracting? I think they are great shots, just the siting is heavy handed solely in my opinion. Photography is totally “salt to taste”.

Is there a rule in photography that everything should look SOOC or lightly edited?
