Received my copy a few days ago. Just toot to the garden and took some first pictures, in this case of my dog Neno.
I'm surprised that also portraits seem to be possible with this lens.
Picked up the 24GM 1.4 on trade...best decision I ever made. Only wish I had picked up this lense much sooner. Remarkable sharpness, rendering and falloff (truly impressive wide open at f1.4). Yet it's small and lightweight, superb walkabout optic. I also find 24mm to a versatile focal length. Love it
I had a hard time deciding if I wanted another 20 G or to try the 24 GM. After going through this thread, the 24mm GM is on the way. The 24 GM seems like it will be much more versatile.
I posted some images of recent Disneyland trip where this lens was mounted on my A7RV. I am REALLY impressed with the 24GM! Here are couple additional images from that trip.
Good choice I think, 20mm can be too wide for many subjects

It’s my favorite lens in the entire Sony e-mount system. And I’ve shot lots of the high end stuff. Owned my copy since launch and never thought of selling it.
Those are so good. Those pinks are jumping at you ,like the batis I have but better.
What camera did you used for these ? And are those f1.4 ?
I wonder if I should switch from the batista 25mm to the gm.
