Really wonderful impressions of this Slovenian landscape here.
And I saw your great bike on the flickr-site.
I just wonder how you do this gravel sections with this roadbike-tires ?
By the way , great bike, the saddle looks a bit uncomfortable to me though, probably not much cushion on the thin carbon there

First, thanks for your kind words... :-)
the gravel road on the photo there was not ridden (yet), only photographed... :-)
If you look here on FM cv40 thread or on flickr you'll see that a couple of weeks back I bought a gravel bike, so this road is definetly going to get ridden... ;-)
anyways even with my IF bike I've ridden many gravel sections mostly on Pohorje hills with only one flat that can be attributed to the gravel road... :-)
And lastly, the Berk saddle is surprisingly comfortable, wouldn't believe it if I hadn't tried it myself... :-)
and since this is photo forum, the cv21 3.5 is a great companion for bike rides, super light, small, sharp, great colour rendition and at a reasonable price... I must admit I was a bit tempted to switch it for the big brother 21/1.4 but after thorough consideration I don't see a big advantage for myself... ;-)
cheers A.

Nice images. ^^^
Mine just arrived. After a quick test against my Loxia 21 the CV 21/3.5 came out looking very good. It's sharp wide open and only slightly less sharp in the corners than the Loxia. This will be a keeper for sure. I'll have to head out in the desert this weekend and post some images. Thank you Voigtlander for choices!

Very nice images! Mine arrived yesterday, tried some star shots, will be making a nice acquaintance : )
One thing I was wondering about, since this is my first CV lens and first manual focus lens with electronics kind of, would be the whispering sound it makes when I turn the focusing ring. It's like a slight scratch or whisper; have heard it before in vintage lenses were the lube was partially giving up, but then the sound was intermittent. Here it's constant throughout the entire focus action and there's no unevenness in said action.
Just compared it to every old vintage lens I currently have and it is louder than all of them, some are literally quiet, others have a slight sighing sound. It isn't precisely loud though, you kind of have to be listening for it with your ear close to take note.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Thanks Fellas,
@Kaldur, it does, I've never noticed it before but just compared it to a few other old and new MF lens and it's noticeably louder. I've had mine for a little while so don't know if it was like it from new Regardless it's a special lens I'm sure you will enjoy.

Many thanks for the feedback. I can only hear it in the quiet of my apartment hallway and not really outdoors and don't foresee it to be an issue ever, if this is how they are 'supposed' to sound : ) (Didn't really want to start a return issue first thing on my vacation either)
Yes, I'm enjoying both sunstars and doing mfd shots with it, things I didn't necessarily count on enjoying.
I've tested two well centered copies of the Voigtlander 21/3.5 E-mount and found it to have great resolution at infinity. However, there is a mid-zone dip that only gets masked at around f/8: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1566500/0#14632371
In your samples, the beige building is located at the same area as my "mid-zone" area and I found the lens is weaker there, so perhaps you don't have a bad copy.

Hmmm this lens is good. Ignore the vignetting in the corners. I have a hood that's impending a little here. I actually have one coming today. This is at F2.8 which across the whole frame is impeccable. yea corners are awesome too. Has a little mustache it seems. Need to find a profile. Im wondering if the old Zeiss 21 ZEor ZF might do it. Looks similar
