Well when you put it that way it sounds like a pretty good deal Really the only thing holding me back is not having more than 24MP FF sensor to use with it. I'd like an A9R or A7000 with more pixel density with all the A9 performance/EVF features I'm used to for when I need the "reach".

What's wrong with the Sony 7RIII? Isn't it better than the A9 when using a flash?
I've never owned a flash in my life.
Sony A7RIII has no workable silent shutter mode for fast action. Sony A7RIII EVF blackout drove me nuts in 5mins of using it. I persevered for another few hours but it wasn't for me. Sony A7RIII AF was decent but no where near the A9. My D850 focuses better and I have long lenses for that system so that is my high-MP system for right now.
I want an A9 featured high-MP camera from Sony.
You have to give up megapixels for speed. 24MP is plenty. If you really have to crop heavy..it means get a longer lens or just don’t shoot it... that is how I see it...

Yep and Yep! That's the correct way to look at this!
Shouldn't you add $1k for the TCs?
